Keep your tools at optimum performance

My prime objective in setting up RA Torque Wrench Calibration was to be able to offer fully comprehensive torque wrench calibration services to customers across the UK. I bring over 30 years’ industry experience, and have a fully equipped workshop capable of testing and servicing a wide range of torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers.

I am ISO 9001: 2015 registered, and all work is carried out to a high standard

Tailored calibration services

I offer three options for UKAS traceable calibration, to cover various requirements and applications, from large aviation projects to vehicle servicing and everything in between.

Included in my prices is the resetting of the wrench where possible, and the reporting of the readings before and after the adjustments. If it’s found that your wrench or screwdriver requires repairs – or replacing – I’m happy to provide a full quote, prior to the additional work being undertaken.

BS EN ISO 6789: 2017 Part 2
Full Calibration

This is a fully comprehensive calibration option, taking consideration of the various features and operating parameters of the torque wrench. By collecting up to 120 individual test readings then inputting them into bespoke software, the results and uncertainties are presented and defined in accordance with the specification.

BS EN ISO 6789: 2003
Calibration

This calibration is conducted in accordance with the 2003 issue of the specification, looking at the basic operation of the wrench or screwdriver. By testing at 20%, 60% and 100% capacity you can have the confidence that you are achieving accurate torque settings for your application.

BS EN ISO 6789: 2017 Part 1
Declaration of Conformity

This conformity check is conducted in accordance with Part 1 of the current specification, and gives you the confidence that the wrench is performing within acceptable limits for wider tolerance applications.
